A general investigation has apparently been called to analyze various elements’ role in violence, including video games. This is not a bad thing, nobody is actually saying that video games cause violence with this announcement, but including it does seem to be a bit hypocritical considering that the United States Army has released at least one video game about real war as a recruitment ploy. The fact that the army, a department of the executive branch, is trying to incite strong pro-army feelings using a video game is slightly disturbing, and very ironic. That’s just my two cents.
