K2 Style 1: Flow

As you may know, I’ve been messing around with designing Wordpress themes and styles as a hobby, since I’ve got absolutely nothing better to do with myself. My favorite Wordpress theme has to be K2, for its amazing level of customizability, including the “style” function.

Flow Sccreen

Flow is a style I threw together in a few minutes, when trying to design something for a tech blog I was going to start. I don’t really have much to say about it, I just kind of got the idea and executed it, which disturbs me a little considering how much time I usually spend designing something. Click the thumbnail for full-size view (sorry, no demo). It’s pretty basic, easy to expand on, functions with no, one, or two columns, and supports the custom image header, which is much more than can be said for other K2 styles. I edited the default K2 style only very slightly, so I definitely can’t take all of (even a majority of) the credit for this work.

Download

Installation: Just drop “flow.css” in your K2’s “styles” folder
UPDATE 2 (August 1, 2007) : Cleaned up the CSS and added style information at the top so that K2 will add the correct footer info.

UPDATE: I just found out that it was trying to reference the default K2 images under the styles folder instead of the actual images folder. I fixed it, if you use this style, you should definitely update (same download link above).

I love comments, no matter how harsh!

Nice man, it’s good to see you getting active. I like the style overall, clean simple and not hard on the eyes. You might want to see how it looks with softer features if you know what I mean.
